Our Music
Our current songbook is the Chalice Hymnal, designed to include a wealth of Disciples-related music from many eras. The following is an excerpt from the Preface:
"Recognizing the centrality of the Lord's Supper in Christian worship, the
Chalice Hymnal lives up to its name by incorporating forty communion
hymns. Worship material and service music are interspersed
throughout the hymnal, for use by the entire congregation."
Our Sunday worship service consists of a couple traditional hymns, and a couple more modern, spirit-filled creations. Choir practice is Wednesday evenings, and our choir offers a variety of music throughout the year.
